Describe in detail how useful English has been in the past, is in the present, and will be in the future for each of the following areas of life:
A. Self development (personal choice such as travel, hobby, talent)
B. Relationship (family, friend)
C. Financial (buying, selling, job)
D. Academic (school)
I’ve been speaking English since I was 5 years old with my dad, because he’s Austrian and my mom doesn’t speak German so the easiest way to communicate with each other is English ,since they both know the langauge , so when my siblings, my mom and I talk with my Dad we all talk in English.
ReplyDeleteAnd is also good for traveling because they speak English everywhere so is easy to communicate
For College will help to because I will probably study in Europe and International College’s are mostly in English

A) The English in the past in myself development was never hard because I have always interacted with people who speak Spanish but now and in the future is a fundamental tool that has opened up many opportunities and good paths for me.
ReplyDeleteB) Well for me and my family as the same way that in myself development, before it didn’t was fundamental, but now and in the future give me ways to chose how to life my life, when it comes about projects and travels.
C) In this point of my life the English give me the chance to have some business conversations in person and in the internet.
D) Well in all my life (since I enter to IMH) have been learning how to speak in English, and the way of how I develop myself in the classroom is my past and my present, and I’m practicing for my future.
Self-development: in the past it was complicated because I was a minor and did not know how to formulate well what to say, in the present it is easier because I have learned more things and words, in the future I hope to be fluent.
ReplyDeleteRelationships: my family speaks Spanish so it is not necessary for me to know with them lol, although I have friends who are foreigners and in the present it is sometimes difficult to communicate.
Finances: in the past and present it was easy, it was not difficult for me, in the future I hope it will not be difficult either.
Academics: past was a little difficult because there were more advanced classmates, just like in the present, in the future I hope it will be easier.
A) When I travel to another part of the world, maybe in my future career and as a goal.

A. For my self development I take English as a hobby since I find entertaining learning about new things.
ReplyDeleteB. In the future I may meet some people that have english as their first lenguage, and may want to make relationships with them.
C. English will open me a lot of job opportunities, since nowadays knowing a second lenguage is a requirement for most of the companies.
D. As I have english classes, knowing how to speak english helps me to understand and have good grades. Also I can help my classmates to understand.
it wasn't really hard in the past, because i've had the privilege to always be in bilingual schools, so english has come easy to me.

B. All of my family speks english except my mom, she just understands it to a basic level
C. I ussually work in the family bussines so this lenguage comes very handy at times, to comunicate properly with customers.
D. Like I mention before i've had the privilege to go to bilingual schools, so there is not much to add about it.
1.- For my self-development it has been very useful. The times I've went to places where few or none people knew spanish I was able to understand and talk to anyone, including the times I've asked for explanations, followed tutorials to do something, etc.
ReplyDelete2.- Speaking english is great to meet other people that can't speak spanish, like a friend of mine who inicially wasn't able to understand or speak spanish.
3.- When I was selling snacks, speaking english was a very useful tool to meet valuable customers from anywhere easily and being able to explain them how my little business was. In a future, it may be very useful to speak to important people for my possible job relationships.
4.- In school, speaking english is both mandatory and important. Aside from the academic perspective, it is great to speak english since some students from USA, Canada, or other countries are admitted often, so you can talk to them and maybe become friends with them.
a)For me, English is a very useful tool in the personal sphere because English is the most spoken language in this century and it opens up paths for work.

c)Financially, it is important since here in Huatulco many people are coming from outside and that is where I will be able to get ahead knowing how to communicate with them.

A) As for personally, it would help me to communicate with more people, and if in the future I take a trip, I would be able to communicate in English.

C) In terms of finances, it would help me with more job possibilities, since there are usually people who do not speak Spanish.
D) And at my school, in the future I will go to university and there they teach subjects entirely in English.
Self-development: it is an important part because it is situated in the position of communication with other individuals, and I believe that communication is an important part to know what to do, where to go, or with whom to be, because if you do not know how to speak it, many doors are closed to you.
ReplyDeleteRelationship: to be able to speak English with people who do not know your language is important because at first when he/she is speaking you would not know what he/she is saying and much less would you know what to say, and I believe that learning it is important to communicate with him/her.
Financial: this part is very important, because it is where you can earn money by knowing how to speak it and understand it and this can be very well paid.
Academic: Being able to learn it from a young age is very important because it will not be very difficult to speak it when you are older, and this will help you a lot in school.
English is very useful in all of the above and I think it relates to many more common things and subjects.
For me English could be useful to communicate, I will also use it for School and later on for work , and to communicate with a friend, employee or costumer

ReplyDeleteA. English in my personal development has been good, now it is not so bad and in the future it will help me to travel.
B. In the past it was very difficult to communicate with my family and friends who speak English, now it is easier because I understand what they are saying.
C.In the past my first job was very complicated because I didn't understand tourists, now I understand them and it is less complicated.
